Born under the sign of Sagittarius in 1953. Iroquois Falls, Ontario.

Gisèle started at a very young age to develop an interest in art. Her parents encouraged her by enrolling her in a 4-year study course with Famous Artist School of Connecticut founded by Norman Rockwell for young talented people. In 1971 I received my Certificate while working in the advertising department of « The Enterprise Weekly Newspaper ». I joined the local art club and enrolled in more art classes at the South Porcupine College, Ontario.

Motivated by her passion, family and friends, she participates to solo and group art shows, winning awards and mentions.

Spring 2006, Gisèle is invited to the « Symposium de Peinture de la Mauricie, at the « Centre des Arts, Shawinigan. 

« Société Canadienne de L’Aquarelle » attribues Gisèle a second mention for her spontaneity for her art work. 

In the prestigious collection of the Barrie Sports Hall of Fame, hangs 13 watercolors of Sports figures, of which Gisèle painted a recent one of Tim Sample, Olympic and Winter Games coach, was unveiled at the Induction ceremony, October 4, 2006.

She now resides in St. Lazare with her family. Eager and motivated to learn new techniques, Gisèle continues her acknowledgment through workshops with Jacques Hébert, Nasco Kafadorov and Louise Lachance-Legault.

She shares her passion through workshops with young and adults in her studio.

Watercolors and oils are her favorite mediums. They allow me to express fluidity and spontaneity, movement and expression brings my art work alive and singing.
