My creative journey developed throughout my career as a pattern maker/designer and then lead designer in the field of women’s footwear and fashion accessories. The decorative art of window displays and spatial design developed simultaneously. I then explored interior design and residential and commercial decoration with licensed designer fabrics using screen printing techniques.
A new direction and professional focus on horticulture and urban forestry; the environment, its vitality, trees, their shapes, colors, time, our moment.
Reflection, ideation, sketching, drafting, designing, and creating are the keywords that define my daily life. Today’s summary: creative concepts – photography – watercolor – mixed media. All capture and attempt to illustrate the effects of light, or the absence thereof, in relation to the elements.
I live and work in the greater Montreal area, sometimes in Charlevoix and I live in an exquisite environment of the Ottawa River, Hudson.
