Sinclair Maloney began his interest in the arts throughout college in Fine Arts and university obtaining his Bachelor of Visual Arts. Struck by the commercial viability of photography as well as a great passion for this he abandoned all painting and sculpture and continued professional photography and video for around 15 years. Digital photography changed the marketplace drastically and he again had to find another line of work that was more viable. Sensing a void for his creativity he decided several years ago to give painting a second chance with a particular attention towards landscapes using acrylics and oil.
The artist will come to share with us the approach he uses during the creation of his works, on febuary the 17 after the meeting of the Artists Hudson Artistes association at the Stephen F. Shaar Center, 394 Main Street, Hudson. Free for members.
