The magic is back! We will return to a few favourite sites, but new ones have been added. No rules. Your camaraderie and enthusiasm are a must. Welcome to come to as many or as few as you can. Sites with entry fees are noted. Arrive when you can and leave when you want. Starts at 9h30. We meet for lunch at 12h with open discussions. Your choice of medium, travel light. Bring a hat, water, and lunch. Cancelled if there is a weather warning. 40% rain means 60% sunshine. So let’s go for it. (Printable copy – see end of list)

May 19 – Canal Park, Grenville, and Grenville Lighthouse, South and North Canal Streets. Parking is available along Canal Street and at the lighthouse. Restrooms available. A beautiful heritage site featuring historic homes, views of the Ottawa River, and a waterfront park.
May 26 – Village des Ecluses – 2 Chemin du Canal Pointe des Cascades – historic buildings and picturesque spots, right by the water. Two places to inspire you. Free parking (drive past the campground), public restrooms.
June 2 – Félix’s House – 186 Chemin de l’Anse, Vaudreuil J7V 8P3. A Second Empire-style house built in 1880 with bay windows. Beautiful homes in the vicinity. Lake view near the park. Restroom facilities are available. Free parking.
June 9 – Bellevue Pincourt Park, 267 Duhamel Street, parking at the corner of Duhamel Street and Monseigneur Langlois Avenue. A special invitation from Denise Bergeron, Pincourt City Councilmember. A beautiful waterfront park worth exploring. Nature. Boats, playground equipment. Restrooms available.
June 16 – Greenwood – 254 Main Street, Hudson. A charming location, historic home, river view, wooded setting, and flowers. Limited parking; carpooling strongly recommended. Restrooms available. Donations are welcome.
June 23 – Saint-Lazare, Ste-Angélique Street, IGA parking lot. Corner of Ste-Angélique and Bédard. Several historic homes, three charming little parks just a short walk away, an ice cream shop, and restrooms at IGA or Bravo restaurant.
June 30 – Village Oka – 158 Main Street, Hudson. Take the Oka ferry; carpooling available ($26 round-trip per car) (no waiting on foot; $6 round-trip). Cash only. Church of the Annunciation, ferry dock, summer activities, restrooms, free parking.
July 7 – Sucrerie La Montagne, Rigaud, 300 Saint-George Road, Rigaud, J0P 1P0. A charming setting featuring log cabins and small log cottages. Restrooms available and free parking.
July 14 – No plein air.
July 21 – location to be confirmed – a place with flowers or animals; free admission.
July 28 – Hudson Village, corner of Cameron Street and Main Street. Parking is available in front of or behind St. Thomas Church (413 Main Street, Hudson). These two street corners are bustling with activity and offer a wide variety of inspiring subjects; restrooms are available in nearby homes and at the community center.
August 4 – At Xénia’s home, our host (AHA member), 6 Legros Street, Coteau du Lac, J0P 1B0. A waterfront location with large maple trees, flowers, fruit trees, a vegetable garden, and a view of the small bridge and the old mill. Street parking is available.
August 11 – Hudson Orchard, 839 Main Street, Hudson. A charming spot with a rustic atmosphere. Tractor, apple wagon, apple trees, gift shop, chickens. Free parking. Restrooms.
August 18 – Two Mountain Sailing Club, 30 Rue des Rigolets, Vaudreuil-sur-le-Lac, J7V 8P3. Our host: Denise Sefsik (AHA member). A picturesque spot with sailboats, buildings, and enchanting scenery. Restroom facilities are available. Free parking.
August 25 – Patates et Persil, 9 St. Charles Avenue, Dorion, an extraordinary snack bar with an artistic atmosphere and a patio overlooking the water. Enjoy the warm, rustic, family-friendly ambiance. Other art-themed venues nearby. Delicious homemade meals. Street parking is available. Easels must not obstruct traffic inside the restaurant or on the patio. Our last meeting—lunch at noon—please order early, as it tends to get very busy. Thank you
