Heather Markgraf

I am originally from England and I came to Canada in 1975. Most of my working life was spent running a theatre in Hudson. I was an actor, director, designer and teacher. Just before the Covid outbreak in 2020 I took an oil painting class with Mona Turner and I loved it. During Covid I spent my time painting, something I had loved to do when I was in school and had no time for when I was working and raising a family. My chosen medium is oil paint and I love to try and capture the emotion and beauty of the nature around us.
