Lynn Hartwell

Lynn lives in Montérégie, Quebec. This visual artist is also a physiotherapist/osteopath. These two aspects of his life complement each other. One offers an in-depth understanding of movement while the other offers creative freedom. She likes to explore different mediums.

Life experiences create a path from brush to canvas and sculpture. I’m not afraid of the blank canvas. With each brushstroke, it gradually reveals to me few of its secrets… and the work is already there. My paintings are inspired by the great outdoors and the people around me, the atmosphere of the moment…

I like art since my young age. I experienced different mediums. Wide open spaces attract me. Nature and people inspire me. I love life. Movement is life. Our body is sculpted with our soul. I catche those small moments and immortalize them in my paintings and in the heart of my sculpture.
