Artistic approach: Art surrounds us. It is present in everything we see, hear, taste and touch. He is what we desire him to be. Colors, shapes, patterns, compositions, subjects – they enchant and surround us all. The way each of us interprets what we see is unique. Our Creator has blessed us by giving us many forms of artistic expression. Through him, we can express our personal creativity through his creation. I chose painting!

Painter: Maria Reinhard excels in the representation of still life, silhouettes and landscapes.
She emphasizes: It was after finishing high school that I began serious studies in art, which led me to move towards commercial arts at Dawson College.

Life circumstances meant that despite this first love I had to interrupt its practice for a career in sales and marketing. It is only recently that I have had the opportunity to pursue my passion for drawing and painting – a form of personal therapy.

My fascination with color and the desire to create something subjective, intriguing and stimulating eventually led me back to the art world. What intrigues me the most? The effect of light, the contrasts of nature: a beam of light that pierces the dense forest and ends up finding a secluded spot, illuminating the abundance of views that hide: the scintillation of light on the sea, casting a thousand lights; a ray of sunshine making snow in freezing weather radiant; the chic flowers posing in their elegant vases, leaving the illusion of their scent once picked on the canvas; trying to capture a glimmer of this favorite animal’s personality by capturing its energy, frozen for a moment in a painting. I am open to discovering new ways of observing my environment whether while traveling or in my studio. I hope to share my passion for art with you.
