Living surrounded by nature on Mont Rigaud, Merle draws creative inspiration for her paintings from her exposure to the natural world.  Her love of painting with oils and mixed media and her connection to Spirit inspire her to create colourful paintings on canvas.  Her work reflects the realism of nature as well as her experimentation with abstraction and mystical paintings.
