Living in the small town of Hudson, Quebec, outside of Montreal, I have the opportunity to explore many nature trails and waterways a short distance from my home.
I prefer vibrant colour interactions and draw inspiration from the seasons in the garden, the foggy views from a nearby mountain ridge or a dappled woodland edge.
Working in watercolour for the last few years has encouraged me to work in a smaller format, outdoors as well as in the studio from photos.
My background in garden design and ceramics has contributed to a continued interest in natural themes and the playful use of colour.
