Sue Rhodes began sketching at a young age, and as she grew older took various art classes where she discovered a true passion for painting animals. She participated in numerous workshops to further perfect her skills. She discovered ‘scratchboard’ in 2008, a medium that has existed for a very long time, especially in advertising and graphic design. Sue decided to teach herself this technique and apply it to drawing the animals she enjoys. A few years ago, she added pastels as another medium to create artworks. She has participated in numerous exhibitions, and her creations can be found in several private collections. When she’s not at her drawing table, Sue enjoys walking her dog, riding her horse, or simply relaxing with a good book.
