I began my artistic journey as a child, pursuing my passion for drawing and painting through periods of intense creativity, interspersed with breaks. Even during these interruptions, I have always observed my environment with an artist’s eye.
My source of inspiration comes from nature, my dreams, as well as human, animal and organic forms, without forgetting angular and geometric shapes. For me, colors represent a true source of life and joy, and I express myself through playful, sometimes naive works, embellished with a fantastic or surrealist touch. The subjects of my paintings mainly come from my imagination, inviting the viewer to participate in a story unique to each work.
I mainly use acrylic and mixed techniques, which offer me limitless possibilities. I sometimes return to oil painting, a medium that I find particularly creamy and malleable, and I am currently exploring encaustic.
My experience with oil painting dates back to 1979, when I was introduced to figurative art through landscapes painted on the spot and portraits inspired by my photographs. In 2020, I discovered abstract art with acrylic painting and mixed media, and since then, I have been producing regularly and prolifically.
Self-taught, I have also participated in various painting workshops and exhibitions over the years. In parallel with my pictorial practice, I like to indulge in other artistic activities such as poetry, artisanal jewelry and photography.
